SAMO – Student Union of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences

SAMO – Student Union of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences is local supervision- and service organization of students in Seinäjoki UAS. Only requirement for membership of SAMO is that you’ve to be a student of Seinäjoki UAS.

SAMO will choose student representatives to Seinäjoki UAS administration, participates to educational- and social political decision-making and supervision. SAMO also organizes several events to compensate studying.

SAMO is a member of Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences – SAMOK.

SAMO has approximately 2000 members.

Missions
Main mission is to supervise and develop benefits of members especially in educational- and social political issues, like quality of education, student’s legal protection, living, healthcare and housing.
SAMO will elect student representatives to Seinäjoki UAS work groups, make comments and helps students in possible problem situations.

Variety of different kind of events, campaigns and parties will compensate studying.
