SAMO HAKEE MAHTAVIA TUTOREITA VUODELLE 2023!

Tutorhaussa haetaan vertaistutoreita ja kansainvälisyystutoreita. Molempiin tutormuotoihin haetaan samalla lomakkeella. Alla kerromme mitä eri tutorointimuodot tarkoittavat.

MITÄ ON VERTAISTUTOROINTI?
Vertaistutoroinnilla tarkoitetaan ensisijaisesti aloittavien uusien opiskelijoiden ohjaamista, tukemista ja ryhmäyttämistä. Pääset siis olemaan ykkösten tukena ja turvana sekä suunnittelemaan heille kaikkea mahtavaa toimintaa.
SAMO on apunasi ja järjestää kevään ja syksyn aikana koulutuksia, joista saat hyvät eväät tutorointiin. Koulutukset ovat yhteisöllisiä, rentoja ja nauruntäytteisiä päiviä - asiaa unohtamatta.
Tutkinto-ohjelmien IB (International Business), AE (Automatic Engineering) ja RN (Nursing) tutorit ovat 2022 alkaen kansainvälisyystutoreita.
Tutorit voivat toimia myös liikuntatutoreina. Liikuntatutorit toimivat mukana SAMO Sportsin liikuntavuoroilla, liikuntakokeiluissa sekä auttavat turnausten järjestämisessä. Näiden alojen tutorit kuitenkin tutoroivat omia alojaan vertaistutoreiden tavoin.
MITÄ ON KansainvälisyysTUTOROINTI?
Kansainvälisyystutorit keskittyvät vaihto-opiskelijoihin ja englanninkielisten tutkinto-ohjelmien opiskelijoihin, jotka tulevat opiskelemaan SeAMKiin. Kansainvälisyystutorit auttavat vaihto-opiskelijoita vaihtarielämän aloittamisessa Seinäjoelle saapumisesta alkaen. Kansainvälisyystutorit saavat omat tutoroitavansa, joita he auttavat läpi vaihto-opiskeluajan.
Kv-tutorit ovat apuna ja tukena. Pääset tutustumaan uusiin ihmisiin ympäri maailman, saat uusia kokemuksia sekä pääset rakentamaan monikulttuurista ilmapiiriä SeAMKiin ja Seinäjoelle.
SAMO IS LOOKING FOR AMAZING TUTORS FOR 2023!
We are looking for peer tutors and international tutors. Everyone interested applies by using the same form. Below we’ll tell you about the different forms of tutoring.

WHAT IS PEER TUTORING?
Peer tutors most important job is to guide and support first year students, and also help them to get to know each other. You as a tutor get to be there and guide them through the difficulties of starting on an unfamiliar campus, and also be involved in arranging amazing after school events for them.
SAMO will support you the whole way through by providing training days during the spring and fall, which will give you the tools and information for you to pass on to new students. Training days are communal, full of laughter and easygoing - without forgetting the all important information, which we all love so much.
Beginning in 2022, IB (International Business), AE (Automatic Engineering) and RN (Nursing) degree program tutors are international tutors, while still tutoring their own respective degree programme just like peer tutors.
Tutors can also act as a sport tutor. Sport tutors participates SAMO Sports weekly shifts, sports tryouts and help with organizing tournaments.
WHAT IS INTERNATIONAL TUTORING?
International tutoring focuses on the exchange students and primarily English speaking degree program students who come to study in SeAMK. International tutors help the exchange students when arriving and starting their exchange life here in Seinäjoki. International tutors get their own personal tutorees, who the tutor guides through their exchange.
International tutors are there to help and guide. As an international tutor you get to know new people all over the world, get new experiences and build a multicultural atmosphere in SeAMK and Seinäjoki.
