Hallitukseen voi ilmoittautua ehdolle vielä edustajiston järjestäytymiskokouksessa kunnes puheenjohtajien ja hallituksen valinnat käsitellään, mutta SAMO haluaa tällä haulla jo etukäteen kartoittaa kiinnostuneita ehdokkaita.

SAMOn uusi edustajisto järjestäytyy 21.11. klo 16:30 alkaen. Tässä järjestäytymiskokouksessa valitaan SAMOn edustajiston puheenjohtajisto sekä SAMOn hallitus ja hallituksen puheenjohtajisto vuodelle 2024.

Voit hakea SAMOn hallitukseen ollessasi SAMOn jäsen. Jäsenyyden merkki on voimassaoleva tarra opiskelijakortissa tai aktiivinen mobiiliopiskelijakortti Slice tai Pivo.

Mitä Järjestäytymiskokouksessa tehdään?
Edustajisto valitsee edustajiston puheenjohtajan ja varapuheenjohtajan.

Edustajisto valitsee erikseen hallituksen puheenjohtajan, varapuheenjohtajan ja sen jälkeen seitsemän hallituksen jäsentä.
SAMOn Hallitus jakaa tehtävät keskenään valinnan jälkeen.

Mitä SAMOn hallitus tekee?
Hallitus vastaa opiskelijakunnan päivittäisen toiminnan toteuttamisesta ja toimii työntekijöiden työnantajana. Hallituksen puheenjohtajistolle ja hallituksen jäsenille maksetaan kuukausipalkkiota. Hallitukseen valittavien on oltava SAMOn jäseniä. Mikäli uuden edustajiston jäsen tulee valituksi hallitukseen, nousee hänen tilalleen edustajistoon varasijalle jäänyt ehdokas vaaliohjesäännön mukaan.

APPLY TO SAMO’S BOARD 2024!

If you are interested in acting on the Board of SAMO, send an informal application to samo[at]seamk.fi
(In the application tell about yourself, your skills and the roles you are particularly interested in).

You can also inform your interest during the first meeting of the SAMO's Council, but SAMO wants this application beforehand to identify interested candidates.

The new SAMO’s Council of Representative will organize itself on 21st of November at 16:30. Chairpersons of SAMO’s Council of Representatives, the Board of SAMO and Chairpersons of SAMO board will be elected for the year 2024 in this Council meeting.

To apply to the Board of SAMO you must be a member of SAMO. The sign of a valid membership is an active student card or Slice or Pivo mobile student card.

What happens in the first council meeting
They shall elect a Chairman and a Vice Chairperson for the Council of Representatives.

At the same meeting the SAMO Board 2024 will be elected.
The Representative Council elects a Chairperson and a Vice Chairperson of the Board and then seven members of the Board.
The Board divides tasks among themselves after the selection.

What does the SAMO board do?
The Board is responsible for the execution of the student union's daily operations and acts as an employer for the SAMO employees. The Chairperson, the Vice Chairperson and the Board members will be paid a monthly fee. The Board members must be members of SAMO. If a member of the new council will be elected to the Board, a reserve candidate from the list of council candidates will replace them.

Each member of the Board also represents SAMO in various working groups.

Acting as a part of the board requires at least moderate Finnish language skills, because all board activities need close co-operation with our many partners and students. International affairs representative can manage only with English skills.
